Hello everyone, Welcome to my blog. Today I will writing on something different from what I have written before. Not Python, Github, Programming or anything related but Marketing.

Yes, every organisation needs Marketing as part of your plans to sell out and meet their target. So let's get right to it.

Marketing : What does it mean?

Marketing is the term used to describe all activities that involves, advertising, buying, creating offers, and selling a product or delivering a service.

All the steps an organisation takes to win over a business pitch or meet their target audience is surrounded around Marketing.

So Marketing is a small word that does a big Job.😁

Why you need Marketing

The importance of Marketing to a business cannot be underestimated.

Most organisation even have a whole department dedicated to just marketing alone.

Some reasons why marketing is very important.

• Increase Sales : In order to increase sales and get more revenues you need to market what you are offering in order to reach more people that are interested in what you do and get them to buy from you.

• Expansion : The goal of any business or organisation is to grow. Matter of fact, growth should be one of the five point agenda of any organisation. For this growth that leads to expansion to happen, you need to market your company, product or service so well to get and meet a large target audience.

• More Reach : You do not have to confine your business or brand to just a particular location or area, you need to increase your reach thereby making more people aware of your Brand.

There are different ways to Marketing for your brand, you just have to pick the one that works for your brand and follow through. Infact the Internet have made Marketing so easy, you do not necessarily have to stand in the road to sell to people or get more reach or grow.

Some ways to market are:

• Email Marketing : This methos involves having the email list of your target audience and then reaching out to them through that way. You can achieve this by hosting free sessions or giving out free ebooks or products. Email marketing is very profitable and effective if done properly.

• Digital Marketing : This involves the effective use of digital tools. Running of Adverts to get leads that are your target audience that you can convert to make them buy from you.

• Social media marketing: The use of social media tools, like the Facebook, Instagram, twitter and even WhatsApp. Lol! Yes, you can market effectively on WhatsApp and meet your target audience.

For you to be able to market effectively and win people over you should have some things in check. Some of them are outlined below.

• Know your Product
• Have a Price list
• Build trust
• Always ask for reviews
• Have great customer service
• Answer all inquiries and questions
• Advertise your products and services.

To effectively win people over you have to make them trust you. They can trust you by how well you attend to them and for them to buy from you, You should know your products or services well enough to be able to answer any question.
